Important — not medical advice

Attriko is a coordination and organisation tool. It is not a medical device, not a regulated health product, and not a provider of medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Reminders, tasks, and records can fail for many reasons (device offline, notification settings, user error, software bugs). Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, medication changes, emergencies, and interpreting prescriptions or lab results. You remain responsible for verifying critical information and seeking care when needed.

Texts and calls depend on networks. Push, SMS, voice, and email run through third-party platforms and carriers; we cannot promise they will always arrive or arrive instantly. See section 2 (reliability) and section 3 (notifications) for the full contract wording.

Smart alerts — how we fit in your care routine

Attriko is built for day-to-day family coordination: shared tasks, one place for records, and reminders that help people pitch in. On eligible plans, escalation through push, SMS, email, or voice uses the same kind of mainstream delivery paths other trusted apps use — through third-party push networks, mobile platforms, email providers, and carriers. We design and operate these flows for real-world reliability in normal use — not as a substitute for emergency services or hospital monitoring.

Important legal boundary: Attriko is not a certified life-safety, medical-device, or emergency system. Do not use it as the only safeguard where seconds count and a missed alert could cause serious physical harm. For emergencies, call local emergency services directly (911, 999, or 112 as appropriate) — the same way you would alongside any other everyday app. No connected service can promise absolute, instantaneous delivery on every device and network at every moment; that is why this carve-out exists — it protects honest expectations while we focus on what we do best: helping families organise care together.

For missed alerts or outages attributable to carriers, devices, or other factors outside Attriko's reasonable control, see section 7 (Limitation of liability), section 2 (no guarantee of delivery), and section 3 below.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Attriko app or website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We provide these tools to help you manage the everyday challenges of caregiving — shared lists, reminders, and a calmer place for your family's information. By using Attriko, you agree to use them respectfully within the circles you create (for example: no harassment, no impersonation, no misuse of someone else's health information).

You acknowledge the prominent notice above: Attriko is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional healthcare. If anything in the product conflicts with advice from your clinician, trust your clinician.

2. Use of the service

Attriko provides care coordination features (including tasks, care circles, records, attachments, reminders, and notifications). You must be legally able to enter a contract in your jurisdiction (or use the service under supervision of someone who is), use the service in line with these terms and applicable law, and only add information you are allowed to share.

Notification and escalation reliability. Our notification system (including push, SMS, voice, and email, and any escalation between those channels) depends on third-party telecommunications networks, mobile and desktop platforms, and internet availability. We do not guarantee 100% delivery, uninterrupted operation, or "real-time" accuracy. Attriko must not be used as your sole life-safety device or for critical medical monitoring where a failed or delayed notification could result in harm. You are responsible for backup arrangements (for example direct contact with carers or clinicians, alarms, or emergency services) wherever timing is essential.

Your responsibilities. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, for who you invite into a circle, for keeping your login secure, for checking notifications and device settings, and for confirming medications, appointments, and clinical details with qualified professionals. You must not rely on Attriko as your only source of truth for life-critical decisions.

Your content — ownership and licence. You retain ownership of the content you create and upload (including text, photos, PDFs of prescriptions, lab results, and similar user-generated content). To run the service, you grant Attriko a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, process, encrypt, back up, display, sync, and distribute that content only as needed to: (a) show it to you and to members you have invited to the relevant care circle; (b) operate features you turn on (such as reminders and alerts); (c) maintain security and prevent abuse; and (d) comply with law. We do not claim ownership of your medical or family records, and we do not resell your uploads to advertisers. This licence ends when you delete relevant content or your account, subject to reasonable retention for backups, disputes, and legal obligations.

What you must not do. Do not upload content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy rights, that is unlawful, or that you do not have permission to share. Do not use Attriko to stalk, threaten, defraud, spam, or harm others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that create serious risk or violate these terms.

If we introduce interactive features such as community chat or public forums, separate Community Guidelines may apply. When those go live, we will link them here and in the product so you can review them before participating.

3. Notifications, escalation, and third-party delivery

Reminders and escalations are a core part of how Attriko helps families share responsibility. We route messages through established providers and monitor our systems so that, in ordinary conditions, your team gets a timely nudge. Because every phone, carrier, and inbox is different, you should still keep contact details current, check notification permissions, and use common sense for anything truly time-critical — the same habits you would with calendar or banking alerts. Nothing in this section creates a warranty of successful or on-time delivery for any particular reminder.

The callout above ("Smart alerts") is part of these Terms. By using notification or escalation features, you agree they are coordination tools, not a replacement for emergency services, clinical monitoring equipment, or professional judgement in a crisis.

4. Account and subscription

You may need to create an account. Free and paid (Pro) plans are subject to the limits described on our website. Paid subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled; refunds are handled as stated at the time of purchase.

5. Your content (standards)

Section 2 describes ownership and the limited licence you grant us. In addition: you represent that you have (or have obtained) the rights needed to upload the content you add. If someone contacts us with a valid legal complaint about content you posted, we may remove or restrict that content and take other steps permitted by law or these terms.

6. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Attriko is a coordination tool, not a medical device and not a provider of medical advice. It must not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment, medication timing, or emergency decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions.

Nothing in the app or website creates a doctor–patient or other professional relationship between you and Attriko. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you or others make based on information in the product, or for delays or non-delivery of notifications where caused by carriers, devices, or other factors outside our reasonable control, or for data loss — see also sections 3 and 7.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Attriko and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including personal injury or health outcomes linked to reliance on the product in ways excluded earlier in these Terms (for example life-safety or emergency use). Our total liability is limited as permitted under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum allowed.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms, except where applicable law requires a different process.

9. Contact

For questions about these terms, please contact us.
